Hello Michele Yes, we enjoyed our short stay at Nettuno. The "test" is yet conclusive, and we would stay longer in September. Especially for an excursion to Capri. We loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and the friendly staff and especially your "Pianist", which also accompanies the tour I think? Will it be even now in September? Dear Michele, We left at 3 aug 2010 from Nettuno to The Netherlands. I want to say hello to all of you. Thanks for the very nice stay and kindness. And compliments for the very good kitchen and services. I have one question. The best I have eaten in your restaurant is “ spaghetti with zucchine”. Please can you help me make it myself at home? Perhaps Teresa, from the restaurant, can do a good word for me. Please gif her a personal greet of me. Tell her I called de Spaghetti ‘Spaghetti with zucchini ala Teresa from Nerano’ when I can make it for my guests. I hope to hear from her. Thanks a lot!!

After a somewhat harrowing drive from Rome (relying on google maps on my smartphone -NOT a smart idea) we were close to divorce and throwing our screaming, carsick kids off a cliff. What a relief to end up in this slice of heaven........ After dropping our bags into the simply appointed but very comfortable cabin,our kids went for a rejuvenating swim in the pool while we watched from the outside bar, drinks in hand. The rest of our stay consisted of not much more than soaking up sun and beautiful warm water, a boat trip to Capri and plentiful good food at the resort's excellent restaurant. Apparently there are several Michelin starred restaurants nearby, but with such honest food prepared from fresh ingredients,we were too distracted to be tempted elsewhere. The mini market on-site sold all the basics for breakfast and lunch, and we only needed to drive to the nearest town (sant agata) once to get formula for our baby. In fact, we needn't have hired a car as apparently airport transfers are available from Naples. Next time (and I'm sure we will be back) we'll forego the car, as the resort arranges boat tours of the islands and coastline, and there is also a bus stop very close by. Nettuno is a magical place to stay, in a magical part of Italy. If you're looking for somewhere to really unwind with gobsmacking scenery, glorious weather and fabulous food, I think it's hard to beat. Plus, we found it to be exceptional value compared to Rome and Venice (where we also went on this holiday) and our only regret is that we didn't stay longer.

Dear Tina, dear Michele, our group arrived Saturday morning at 1 a.m. safely at home. The students assured me again, that they appreciated the accommodation at Villagio Nettuno very much and that they were deeply impressed of the quality and taste of the very fine food. We all were very pleased by the friendly and intensive care by Tina and Michele, who made sure, that nearly every wish could be fulfilled. Please give our best regards and many thanks to Zoltan too. He took very much care on our group, so that all excursions along the shore became safe and overhelmingly impressive. The reports on our studies in marine biology will be finished until Christmas holidays and I am looking forward with optimism, that the students will agree to the transmission of the results to you at the beginning of the new year (unfortunately only in German). Siamo tornati ieri da questo angolo di paradiso! La posizione di questo campeggio è spettacolare,,,,ovvero un campeggio in piena costiera Amalfitana, guardatevi le foto...un campeggio sul mare incastonato sulla montagna. Se andate a guardare con google maps, vedrete che dall'alto si fa fatica a individuare le piazzole, questo perchè ringraziando il cielo sono stati rispettati gli ambienti naturali. Quindi le piazzole sono delle terrazze affacciate sul mare ombreggiate da alberi di fichi, pioppi, o ulivi. Il mare sottostante è costantemente limpido, anche perchè la spiaggia è di ciottoli e rocce sui lati. Non è molto grande la spiaggia, ma è così in tutta la costiera, come a Capri etc. Animali visti in questo meraviglioso mare a pochi metri della spiaggia Castagnole, Scorfani, Donzelle Pavonine, Anemoni, Stelle marine rosse, ombrine ,saraghi etc etc. A proposito abbiamo fatto l'escursione a Capri e a due miglia abbiamo visto un Delfino, che emozione! I bagni li puliscono sicuramente verso le dieci, verso le 14 , verso le 18 e mi è capitato di vedere una volta dopo cena, non so se fosse un caso non ho avuto modo di ritrovarrmi li a quell'ora. Mia figlia di otto anni si è divertita molto con l'animazione compresa nelle tariffe del campeggio. Non abbiamo seguito tutte le attività proposte, ma non si sarebbe mai persa la baby dance delle 21,15. Il ristorante, il bar e lo spaccio(Prezzo caffè 90 cent, bicchierino limoncello 2 euro, sei salsiccette confezionate 2euro e 99, birra alla spina media 3 euro....incredibile. Angolo con le buonissime pizze da asporto(Un po' meno il calzone)a prezzi incredibili per la qualità , 5 euro una Margherita. Nello stesso punto ci sono dei tavolini una piscina esterna di una 40 metri quadri con l'acqua alta un metro e venti, delle sdraio e degli ombrelloni gratuiti. Dal bar si possono ordinare buonissimi piatti d'asporto. Abbiamo preso un piatto di spaghetti al pomodoro, una porzione molto generosa di gnocchi alla Sorrentina e un calzone a 17 euro Questi servizi si trovano nella parte alta del campeggio, cè da attraversare una strada, che potrete guardare benissimo da gogle maps..Direzione disponibile, come del resto tutto il personale. Effettuano la raccolta differenziata.

Abbiamo ricevuto un ottimo servizio dall'arrivo alla partenza, la camera ci e' stata assegnata subito al momento dell'arrivo alle ore 13,15 anizhè alle ore 16,00 come previsto. Il ristorante offre un'ottima cucina anche se di si hanno notevoli scelte, ed un'abbondante colazione. Ho effettuato personalmente una immersione subaccquea e mi sono trovato veramente bene con il diving situato all'interno del Villaggio. Sicuramente il Villaggio ha un eccellente rapporto qualita' prezzo.
